You are what you eat! It’s true. Food is not meant for pleasure, but rather life– when it serves both needs, its amazing! P&S embraces the vegetarian and vegan lifestyles, but understands that not everyone is able to make the 100% commitment and thats OK! Reduction in the consumption of animal products still helps the cause and benefits your health.

Still wrapping your head around all the terminology? Here’s a quick guide to help you decide which path to follow next:

Pescatarian (a.k.a pesca-vegetarian)– will only eat fish or seafood. No land animals. 
Vegetarian– will not eat any animals. 
Vegan (a.k.a. Lacto-vegetarian)– will not eat any animals, nor their by-products such as milk, eggs, honey, etc. 
Gluten-free- free of gluten protein commonly found in grains and rice. 

Animal lives are precious, and we must remember that we too are part of the animal kingdom. Yes, we are at the top of the food chain, but as the most intelligent species on the planet, we also have the ability to reason and empathize. Animals have family, feel emotion and pain, and suffer just as we do with the loss of life. What you eat is your choice, at P&S we choose compassion.
